Reminds that spring has sprung too early for even the Deep South in the U.S. I have daffodils, irises and azaleas in full bloom. They should not be, we do get a good freeze period before Easter usually but it doesn’t look like it this year! Nice photo.
Hi Amanda – we’ve had a relatively mild winter so far too, but we have a light snow falling today. It will be unfortunate if all your flowers get frozen!
I like the quote: “All the flowers of tomorrow are in the seeds of today.” I don’t know who said that but it’s interesting to think about. It’s great that there are seed banks to preserve the flowers of the future and therefore to ensure continuance of all plants..
Hi Judy – There are a wide variety of seed banks around the world, including many companies that grow and sell heritage seed. I like the idea that the diversity is being protected.
