After this past week of destruction and immense sadness, I was ready for something uplifting. The Ukuleles were perfect – made me cry another bucket load, but for a different reason.
Here is the link to The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain and to their DVD – Anarchy in the Ukulele.
I’ve never been a big fan of ukuleles, but this was actually quite enjoyable!

I never really thought much about what a ukulele could do in the hands of the masters. I found these videos immensely enjoyable and I’ll sure go to one of their concerts if they ever come our way.

You are welcome! I’d always thought of them as being quite a simple instrument – not so!

My husband recently bought a ukelele for our grandchild. We keep it at our house, so I’ve been learning a few simple songs. I think in another 50 years or so, I might get good at it.

This is so much better than the ukulele music I heard all the time while in Hawaii. Thanks and sorry for all the devastation.

I guess it does make a difference if you actually like the songs!
