This:
What the Snowmen know to be true:
A person is snown by the company they keep.
Boldly go where snowman has gone before.
Dance like snowbody’s watching.
Keep your ice on the prize.
Mother nose best.
Snowman is an island.
That:
I don’t want Christmas season to end, because it’s the only time I can legitimately indulge in my particular addiction: glitter.
– Eloisa James –
The Car Guy is a man of many talents – one of them is wood-working. Recently he has branched out into projects using pieces of wood inlaid with epoxy resin.
In order to keep down the costs of epoxy trial and error, he bought a few small molds to make snowflakes. Then he discovered glitter… We not only have enough glitter snowflakes now for a small avalanche, snowflakes have been slipped into every Christmas card we have sent out. Glitter has been added to epoxy drink coasters too.
I have fond memories of the Glitter phase that our children and grand children went through. They all grew out of it. I expect The Car Guy will too – until next Christmas.
The Other:
I’d like to end this post by wishing you all a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
If, like us, your government has decreed that you cancel any ‘gathering of the clan’, I hope you find a way to make this Christmas a good one anyway. You might want to consider purchasing some glue and some glitter.
Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to you too, Granny. Hope Santa helps you get your car repaired!

So the car guy’s into his glitter
But Margy, you shouldn’t be bitter
Cause I’m sure when he’s done
And he’s through with his fun
He’ll clean up all glitter litter.

Thanks for gracing my blog with your literary talents!
The glitter continues – the Car Guy has set up an epoxy work station in the basement (easier to keep the temperature right than in the garage).
Once the Christmas glitter is done, I’m hoping he will move on to some big pours. He is making me a new slide out keyboard drawer – this one will have a ‘river’ on either side of a live edge piece of wood.

Will The Car Guy glitterize all his cars?? Glitter detailing– that could be the next phase, God help us all!! Well, it keeps him outta the kitchen…
Lockdowns, phooey! Trudeau, double phooey!! A very Merry Christmas to you both, and thanks for being such a good influence– and don’t forget to hang up your masks!! 😊

Merry Christmas to you too, Mark. Our stockings are hung and I’m watching the Official NORDAD tracks Santa as I write this!
I think The Car Guy is too old school to do glitter detailing, but he found a photo where someone covered an old truck with those Christmas lights that you drape over bushes… maybe next year.
Like your country, each Province (State in your case) dictates lockdowns – so can’t blame this one on Trudeau…

Merry Christmas to you and the Car Guy (I have glitter all over my house, but it’s from my granddaughter, not my husband – although I think he’s got a little in his beard!!!!) Hope you have a wonderful holiday season!

Love your tangle. The snowmen have their own personality. Glitter is such fun. You can vacuum it for years to come. Merry Christmas.

Thanks Joy. The Car Guy only has to deal with little carefully measured amounts of glitter – so far so good in keeping it contained!

Love the car guys sparkly disposition 😺😉. Bet the golf cart would look great “Bedazzled “. Do they sell glitter in 55 gal drums?

Wouldn’t Lou the cart guy have a fit if he saw our cart glittered? (Lou built the cart.)
Merry Christmas to you and the gang on the crescent. Hope to see you all in the New Year!

Yes, that’s for sure and you are better off in your homeland this year, despite the rough Winters you have. The pandemic is raging here as you know … I am happy to hunker down and stay put right now too. Thank you Margy and Merry Christmas to you as well.

I’m glad to know I’m not the only one who really likes glitter….I always associate it with Christmas, I guess because of all the Christmas crafts we made with glitter when I was a kid. Merry Christmas, one day late!

Many Christmas cards were glittery too! Very few people send out cards now, though.
All the best in the New Year!

The Car Guy’s passion is Mopars! It is always interesting to wander through a Mopar car show and listen to him cite car trivia. This, from a man, who needs to have a grocery list if there are more than 3 items to remember…
I have high hopes for Christmas 2021 too. Having said that, our family has had a lot worse Christmas’s than this one, so 2021 would have to be hugely tragic to be worse than what came before…
